Vice President of Outreach: Elisabeth Robledo

She/Her Kerman, California

My kids like to laugh when they hear me mention I am a member of 3 rural caucuses, lol. Because they are newish I sometimes misremember to mention co-chair and co-sponsor of California United for Single Payer (CUSP) and Jewish and Allied Educators for Palestine. But I’m always very aware of my role as Vice President in the past and now Vice President-Outreach for the San Joaquin Valley Democratic Club. The reason behind this is because none of these other organizations that I am so pleased and grateful to work with and alongside would be possible without my role and membership within the San Joaquin Valley Democratic Club. I’m very grateful and incredibly humbled to have such a wonderful group of people to work and collaborate with on solutions to our common challenges, as well as celebrate the very precious and many, many ties that bind us one to another. Special shout out to past president James Williams and our membership who kept the lights on during the lean years, and to our new president Adrian Rivera who is illuminating and leading the way forward. The Central Valley is my home and I am grateful to the surrounding areas Madera, Fresno and San Joaquin counties—as together, we continue to grow and flourish based on and rooted in our collective strength, knowledge and commitment.

Vice President of Membership: Elizabeth Blankenship

She/Her Clovis, California

Elizabeth is a licensed phlebotomist and mother of two. She is a lifelong Democrat but was only recently politically activated after having focused on her family for 20 years. This is the first club she has participated in, and the club has ignited her passion to make changes in the community. She has been an active member of the SJVDC for the past 4 years, but this will be her first year as a board member after leading the efforts of the Bylaws Committee last year. Her wish is to help grow the membership of the club to new heights so we can make an impact in the Democratic Party and elections as she believes the Democratic Party can bring real change. Elizabeth's core passions are equality for everyone and green energy.
